Torne trask station at Malmbanan

Along the southern shore of Torneträsk, the Malmbanan (iron ore train line) runs between Kiruna and Narvik. The small Torneträsk station with the small boat pier is found here. Malmbanan opened in 1902 to transport iron ore from Kiruna to the Atlantic coast. Still today, Swedens most extensive and heaviest freight traffic takes place.
