The lake Ikkesjavrre is more than one hundred metres deep, elongated, and located in a northwest-southeast direction, pressed into a mountain valley. This makes it exposed to wind, which means that sand has shot up near the southeast end of the lake and formed a long sand beach. The mountain Bahkaslåpptå reflects on the surface during an early morning at the beginning of July.
