Rahpaädno, the river that drains the inner regions of Rapadalen Rahpavuobme, brings with it amounts of slam that build up a delta at the mouth of Lajtavrre. The river carries almost 200,000 tonnes of slam in a year, the majority during the snow melt in late spring, early summer. The delta will become increasingly larger and grow several metres per year.
