The previous opening shows the source of Pite River, with the jagged peak Ballek and the double peaks Nuortta Savllo, on the border to Norway. To the left, the large lake Mavasjavrre, and to the right, Bieskehavrre, which gathers water from the glaciers in Sulidälbma.
